Queensland University of Technology has unveiled its student loan free scholarship scheme, allowing students to borrow for up to $10,000 per year.
Under the scheme, students can apply for a maximum of $1,500 for up two years, and can apply again for up the next two years.
Students can choose between three repayment options: the Standard repayment option, the Extended repayment option and the Variable repayment option.
Students can apply by completing a full-time application form, or by emailing the university.
Students must complete a full application for the scheme and pay the full fee within 15 days of their request.
Undergraduate students who wish to borrow up to a maximum amount of $10 000 per year must have their application received by June 30.
A maximum of 100 students will be eligible for the scholarship.
It will cover up to 10 years of eligible undergraduate studies at the university and is available to undergraduate students who have completed at least one semester at the institution.
The scholarship is for students who complete at least five credits at the University.
The student loans scheme will be available to undergraduates until August 31, 2020.
Students may apply for the student loans by filling in an application form online, or in person at the Queensland Student Loans office.
The Queensland University Grants Scheme has been launched to encourage students to complete at most one semester of eligible studies at an accredited tertiary institution.
